Ask the children to talk to their parents and grandparents about some aspect of Beverley's history and create a Powerpoint presentation about it.
In the Guildhall we have an interactive computer system that allows us to include Powerpoint presentations on any subject. We would like schools to contribute their own presentations that can be included in the interactive - your children's work could be represented in a professional museum environment.
How do we get involved?
Step 1: Accept the challenge.
Step 2: Discuss with the children what aspect of Beverley's history you are going to look at.
Step 3: Ask the children to talk to their parents and grandparents, or to design their own artwork, or take photographs on the ubiquitous mobile phones.
Step 4: If the children are computer literate, get them to work together as a team to create a simple Powerpoint presentation to tell the story of the history they have chosen. If not, you could submit the work to us, preferably digitally, and we will create the presentation for you.
Step 5: Tell us that you have completed the presentation and we will arrange to put it onto the interactive.
